Puppy and Kitten Packages

We offer puppy and kitten packages for your new furry family member.

Puppy and Kitten packages should be completed no later than 5 months of age, no refunds if package is not completed.

This package is a 20% saving - includes the following:

• Initial wellness exam at ~8 weeks of age

• Series of DHPP (for puppies) or FVRCP (for kittens) until 16 weeks of age

• Rabies vaccine

• 2 Deworming treatments for round worms

• 2 Fecal Analysis

• 1 Toe Nail Trim

• Oral Bordetella (dogs only)

Importance of Vaccines

Your young puppies and kittens are very vulnerable when they are weaned from their mom and go home with you. Their maternal antibody levels falls quickly and vaccines are needed to ensure protection from disease. It is also imperative to mention here that vaccines are completed in a series at very specific time intervals. Failure to vaccinate at the appropriate time can result in contraction of disease. For example, a single vaccine will not be protective for distemper, parvo virus or herpes. Vaccines are "boostered" to ensure maximal protection from life threatening disease.

Timing the Vaccine Series

• DHPP(puppy) and FVRCP (kitten): Vaccine series are given every 3 weeks till finished, at 16 weeks of age.

• Rabies: 14-16 weeks of age
